Business Badminton
Business Leaders from local companies meet for a couple of hours of badminton in a relaxed and friendly environment at Lightwater Leisure Centre on the first Friday evening of each month. Organised by projectfive, more information is available here or from 01276 455455
LBA Business Networking Event
The next opportunity for local businesses to meet informally, will be at 6 pm on Wed 8th July at Fredericks Foundation in Lightwater Road (entrance next to Carsons). Gerry Conrad, Business Development Manger of the Post Office, will talk briefly about Post Office services.

Local Advertising Opportunity

Lightwater Eco' Bags Competition - Winner Announced
The children at Hammond Junior School have been very busy designing Lightwater Eco’ bags. The bags can be seen by clicking here.
The winner has now been chosen by the community vote in Budgens and it is Aimee Morgan, who designed bag no. 4.
In 2nd and 3rd places were Emily Brook and Isobel Briggs (bags 9 and 37). Click here for more photos of the winners receiving their prizes.

The winning bag will be printed and adopted as our very own unique and rather special village bag and sold at participating village shops.
